Made with Ghana cocoa beans, following Amatllers own method of selection, roasting, refining and conching, the chocolate is characterized by a finely balanced combination of the intensity of Ghanaian cocoa with the creaminess of milk, accompanied by a light touch of natural vanilla. Soft aromas of cocoa accompanied by intense notes of tropical passionfruit. The flavor is exotic and acidic with a fresh finish.

The Amatller family's dedication to the production of chocolate started at the end of the 18thCentury when Gabriel Amatller came to Barcelona from Molins de Rei and set up a small artisanal chocolate-making operation in the district of Santa Maria del Mar. Over the years Gabriel's sons, Antoni and Domingo Amatller Ráfols, grew the business starting to trade in products from overseas, which assured a supply of the best cocoa, sugars, and vanillas to make their chocolate.
