Did you know that the preferred way to make coffee in Costa Rica is using a Chorreador? A simple device made from a wooden stand and a sock-like piece of cloth held open by a wire or rim.
The Tres Rios coffee-growing region is considered the best in the country and produces some of the finest coffee in the world! It's high altitude, wet and dry seasons along with the enriched soils of the nearby Irazu Volcano provide the perfect conditions for growing coffee.
The high roast on offer has a rich body, is very fragrant and has a honey-nut aroma. It most certainly has a good kick in it! This coffee is great for espresso and filter.
