A traditional Argentinian cheese accompaniment made from sweet potatoes with a delicate vanilla flavour and cocoa. 

Dulce de batata or doce de batata, as known in some parts of South America, is made by slow cooking mashed sweet potato with sugar, flavoured with vanilla essence and is then set to a jelly-like dessert. Unlike regular jelly, this has a firm texture and a soft bite to it.

A great unusual addition to your dinner table, served with dessert, can be paired with cheese but also enjoyed on it's own or used as cake filling. 

Ingredients: Sweet potatoes (45%), corn syrup, sugar, cocoa, gelling agent: E 406, thickener: E 410, acidity regulator: E 330, colour E-150c, flavouring: Ethyl vanillin and artificial essence of cocoa.
