Description

A smooth and fragrant medium roast coffee. The Harrar Longaberry is often thought to be the superior Ethiopian. It resembles a Moka and often replaces it. With chocolate and blackberry notes. The Longaberry variety is the largest of the Harrar varietals.

Grown between 1510 - 2120 meters above sea level.

Ethiopian Harrar is a naturally processed Arabica coffee, grown on small farms in the Oromia region (formerly Harrar) in southern Ethiopia at elevations between 1,400 meters and 2,000 meters. The province of Harrar is east of Addis Ababa, the country's capital.

With a heavier body than the other Ethiopian coffees. The sun-drying process creates a complex flavour and acidity. A floral, earthy aroma and notes of cocoa, and wild berries. Tones of wine. Our Ethiopian Harrar is medium roasted to enjoy all these flavours.

Perfect brewed in a cafetiere or filter.

With a growing elevation all above 1,500 meters (5,000 ft), These elevations qualify as Strictly High Grown (SHG) / Strictly Hard Bean (SHB) coffees – elevations that allow the coffee to grow more slowly and therefore have more time to absorb nutrients and develop deeper flavours based on the local climate and soil conditions.

Beans: Arabica

Process: Natural
