From Hasslacher's, this dark chocolate bar is made from Criollo & Trinitario cocoa beans, panela and Colombian Golden Inca Berry. 

A 54% Dark chocolate with a mild aroma of cocoa and subtle sweetness. A fusion of sensations where the cocoa and bitter notes are in perfect harmony with the sweet notes of the panela. Tangy Inca berries add a partnership of flavour that is uniquely exquisite.

Hasslachers are probably the only brand of chocolate sold in the UK that is made entirely in the country where the beans actually grow. This provides local employment, improves traceability, creating a more sustainable and robust fair trade mechanism. Therefore, no cacao beans are traded on the open market but rather bought directly from the farmers and growers, through their own co-operative supply chain, providing better prices than traded beans, where middlemen are involved.
