A Medium Roast Swiss Water Processed Java bean.
A chemical-free water decaffeination process where the green beans are soaked in very hot water to expand the pores. The water is then passed through an activated charcoal filter which removes the caffeine. Fresh green coffee is then added to the water that ensures that the beans do not lose their flavour but just the caffeine itself.
This process is environmentally friendly and extracts up to 99.9% of caffeine whilst retaining the distinctive origin and flavour characteristics of the bean.
