A lovely scented tea from China. Congou is a black Chinese tea. The word Congou means "time and effort" and that is what it takes to produce this floral tea, by layering the black tea leave with rose petals. A wonderfully fragrant and floral cup with an amber infusion and smooth, sweet flavour.
Brew for 5 mins. Best enjoyed without milk, but some do enjoy it with a drop of cream.
