ORDER PROCESSING AND DELIVERY

We endeavour to process orders within 24/48 hours of receipt.

We dispatch orders via Royal Mail, upon shipping you will receive an email confirmation.

We can send your order to an alternative address or person. 

When ordering we have a Comment Box where you can provide us with the details of where to leave your parcel if you are out, a message to be included if the order is a gift or any other special instructions.

TRACKED 24 AIMS to deliver parcels in 1 working day,

TRACKED 48 AIMS to deliver parcels in 2 working days.

These time scales are NOT guaranteed.

If you do not receive your parcel after 5 working days, please notify us.

Please note: Orders placed on a Friday may not be dispatched until the Monday. 

International Shipments

Please contact us directly at info@algcoffee.co.uk for international orders. We can obtain a personalised shipping quote based on the weight of your parcels and destination. ANY ADDITIONAL DUTIES PAYABLE ARE TO BE PAID BY THE CUSTOMER

ORDER ERRORS

Please check you order upon receipt. If you believe there to be an error within your order please notify us within 3 working days of receipt of goods.

PAYMENT

Payments made on the shop online are processed via Shopify Payments or Paypal. The customer chooses their preferred method. The process is immediate.

Your use of any information or materials on this website is entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be liable. It will be your own responsibility to ensure that any products, services or information available through this website meet your specific requirements. 

AVAILABILITY

Goods are subject to availability. Our acceptance of your offer to purchase our goods is subject to their availability. Our acknowledgment of order acceptance via the web or email is not a guarantee of delivery. If we are unable to deliver the goods which you have offered to purchase we will let you know as quickly as possible and a full refund will be given. Products available on our website may not be available within our store and vice versa.

PRICING, PRODUCT INFORMATION

All prices are shown in sterling and include VAT where applicable.

Although we will take all reasonable care to ensure that all descriptions, details and prices of products appearing on the Website are correct at the time when the information was inputted onto the system, the information appearing on this Website at any time may not reflect the exact position at the moment you place an order.

Please be aware that the colours and appearance of products may vary slightly from the way they appear on the screen and we cannot guarantee that your monitor screen will accurately reflect the colour of the product on delivery. All measurements and sizes are approximate, although we make every effort to ensure that they are as accurate as possible.

Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time.

CANCELLATIONS AND RETURNS

If you wish to cancel your order please contact us as soon as possible as we may not have processed your order and in this case, we will simply stop your order and refund you immediately. If the order has been ground or shipped we are unable to cancel it. 

Under United Kingdom Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of any item within seven days of delivery. However, this is not applicable to the supply of food & beverages. Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning any unwanted non perishable goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is faulty. Returned goods remain the customer's responsibility until they reach our store. Returned goods must be in 'as new' condition and in the original box and packaging. We will refund returns postage for an item which is faulty, damaged or sent to you in error.

We can only accept returns, exchanges or credit note on goods returned unused with proof of purchase.

Non Delivered Parcels

If a parcel is returned to us as delivery has been attempted but unsuccessful we shall notify you by email and telephone. We can send the parcel again but you will be liable for the postage as we have paid for the original postage and delivery has been attempted. If you do not respond to our attempts to contact you your parcel will be held by us for 10 days, after which time the parcel shall be disposed of and no replacements or refunds can be actioned. 

Refunds and Exchanges

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund or exchange.

In the event of an exchange any additional postage is the responsibility of the customer.

All refunds will be made to the debit or credit card on which the original purchase was made within 30 days of the cancellation of the order or return of the goods. In the event that we are unable to credit your original method of payment, you will be contacted by a member of our team to arrange an alternate method of refund.

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
Only regular priced items may be refunded, sale items cannot be refunded.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

If you are shipping an item over £50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

FOREIGN OBJECT DISCLAIMER

Coffee is a product of nature. This means that foreign objects can find their way into the coffee sacks from the moment they are picked to the moment they are roasted. Roasting machines have devices that eliminate foreign objects from the beans and once the coffee arrives on our premises, it is also goes through quality checks, however, the occasional object can sometimes be missed. We advise all of our customers that purchase our coffee, in particular in beans, to check their coffee prior to grinding it as this could damage your grinder. We therefore disclaim any liability in the event of any damages incurred due to foreign objects found in coffee.

SUBSCRIPTIONS

    If you would like to cancel or amend your subscription please ensure you do so before the due date. We will not be able to cancel any orders that have already been packed or shipped.
