Excelso denominates the size of the beans which are screen size 15-16.
Medellín, the "City of Eternal Spring," is the second-largest city in Colombia and the capital of Antioquia region. Antioquia is the birthplace of coffee in Colombia and to this day it's largest growing region.
The cherries are washed and sun dried, and the high roast is well balanced with notes of cocoa and nuts which is wonderful in an espresso machine and filter. Lovely and smooth.
