Our Yirgacheffe is medium roasted with a floral aroma and clean, complex flavour with bright acidity and notes of wine, chocolate, and citrus.
Yirgacheffe coffee is a wet-processed coffee grown at elevations from 1,700 to 2,200 meters above sea level and is considered the best high-grown coffee in southern Ethiopia, a region known for fine coffees. These elevations qualify Yirgacheffes as Strictly High Grown (SHG) / Strictly Hard Bean (SHB) coffees – elevations that allow the coffee to grow more slowly and therefore have more time to absorb nutrients and develop deeper flavours based on the local climate and soil conditions.
