Excelso denominates the size of the beans, which are screen size 15-16.
Medellín, the "City of Eternal Spring," is the second-largest city in Colombia and the capital of the Antioquia region. Antioquia is the birthplace of coffee in Colombia, and to this day, the largest growing region.
The cherries are washed and sun dried, and the medium roast is well balanced in aroma and acidity, rounded and smooth without too much bitterness, great in a cafetière, filter, and Turkish pot.
