The Amaretto flavoured bean is unreal, it feels high quality, the smell is amazing, very almondy and marzipan like. It comes through slightly in the taste too when made using my Aeropress and hand grinder.
I have now also tried the double chocolate macadamia - similar story here, except the flavour doesn’t come through much at all, the coffee still tastes great, not much bitterness, quite a smooth taste. But maybe I’ve not got my grind size down, or brewing technique, despite the same technique yielding excellent results for the amaretto bean.
Overall, these are some of the best beans I’ve had, and there’s a reason why I keep buying more.
