I always thought flavoured coffees were a bit gimmicky, artificial. Then I tried this year's ACS spring blend. Which was wonderful. As is this year's summer blend. So we wanted to try more.
Made a flat white with this and it's just lovely. Firstly it's a very very smooth Columbian. No bitterness, soft cinnamon , chocolate notes. The flavouring as with previous ACS I have tried, doesn't overpower the coffee, it blends with itg. This is delicately blueberry, and I think vanilla. In a flat white it is literally like dunking a blueberry muffin into a nice Colombian coffee and then eating it.
Great for a little treat/dessert moment, whilst still definitely being coffee and not confectionary. I just gave the missus a cup for a coffee break in her home office, along with a croissant and she was over the moon, in her words "that was too nice, I drank it too quickly".
