Originating from the Hangzhou in the Zhejiang Province of China, this leaf is handpicked and fired flat to halt the fermentation process and preserve not only the fresh flavours but also the antioxidants. The leaves are a wonderfully deep, rich green and give a light yellow liquor, a mellow and delicate flavour with nutty and sweet notes.
