Milk Oolong is said to get its unique flavour from a sudden temperature shift during harvest, which causes the tea to develop this amazing milky scent and flavour.
It produces a yellowish liquor, with a sweet, slightly nutty flavour...Truly unique!
Oolong is a traditional tea from Taiwan, previously Formosa. Oolong teas are their own, neither black nor green, but in between. The leaves are semi-fermented, and depending on how each tea is left to oxidise will determine if it resembles a green or black tea.
