Our Swiss Water Processed Decaff is a Colombian bean available in a High or Medium Roast.
A chemical-free water decaffeination process where the green beans are soaked in very hot water to expand the pores. The water is then passed through an activated charcoal filter which removes the caffeine. Fresh green coffee is then added to the water which ensures that the beans do not lose their flavour but just the caffeine itself.
This process is environmentally friendly and extracts up to 99.9% of caffeine whilst retaining the distinctive origin and flavour characteristics of the bean.
