Made by Aloisio, based in beautiful Calabria since 1930, and renowned for their delicious Cosentino fig treats. In the 50s, they were the first to craft original chocolate-covered Dottato figs. Delightful!

Don’t buy too much…leave some for me

Every year I purchase Lingotto di Fichi. It is gorgeous. I keep thinking that it would make a wonderful gift for someone but I’m afraid that once it gets here we simply have to indulge. If you have never tried it then now is the time. It’s seasonal so buy it straightaway or you’ll have to wait until next year. Don’t buy too much…leave some for me.
