Description

Russian Caravan tea dates back to the 18th century and refers to tea that was transported over 6000 miles to Russia, en route to Europe, from China in caravans pulled by camels.

Traditionally a blend of Chinese black tea and Oolong teas, sometimes a little Lapsang is added to imitate the smokey flavour that the tea used to develop through the journey due to the fires that were lit at night imparting their smoke upon the tea.

Our Russian Caravan has no Lapsang, it is simply a delicious blend of Keemun, Oolong, and a hint of Indian tea producing an amber liquor with smooth flavour and good strength.

Ingredients

Black Keemun, Formosa Oolong, Darjeeling.
