Description

Grown on the Indonesian island of Sumatra the Mandheling grows in the Aceh province, particularly the Gayo region. Though not grown at particularly high altitudes it is grown in rich volcanic soil and a tropical climate.

The Mandheling is roasted as a full roast and has a full body, earthy aroma with tones of chocolate and spice. 

Best enjoyed in a cafetiere or filter

Beans: Arabica

Process: Wet Hulled

Good

It’s a decent coffee beans nice if you want to change from very strong beans, the flavor is smooth and creamy I like it as a morning coffee for my flat white

I tried this coffee on a whim a couple of years ago and just love it. A great flavour and aroma with no bitterness.

Great coffee

This is lovely coffee and with a little extra kick over lighter roasts that I usually choose. I find it good to add a little of this to my lighter roasts on some occasions where I desire a little extra boost but it's also lovely on its own. I am so amazed by the quality from Algerian coffee stores and have been buying coffee here since I was about 18 (36 years). Such a lovely shop with expert and friendly service.
