I accept the package proferred by the Post man. I close my door, go to the kitchen, unwrap and then raise the package to my nostrils but I don’t sniff. The aroma of Aroma infiltrates my nostrils. The moka pot awaits, as do the pastels de nata. I’m content.

I've been drinking garbage coffee at home for so long, but didn't realise it until I picked up some of their aroma blend. I rarely go out for coffee now, as making it at home is the same or even better.

I use the Sage SES500BSS Bambino Plus espresso machine. It comes with two types of filters: one for coffee roasted within the last month, which is my favourite, and the other for older beans. Unfortunately, although I requested the coffee roasting date to be specified, it was not.

The first filter did not work well, so I had to use the second one designed for older beans. I'm unsure what caused the lack of the rich, aromatic flavour I was anticipating... was it the roasting date, the grind size (I specified for my machine), or the beans themselves?

I prefer local coffee shops for enhanced flavours, and it's disappointing because this place is supposed to be well-established and top-notch.
