A medium roast coffee from Nicaragua in Central America, whose coffee is renowned for its well-balanced flavoured profile, medium to smooth body, and citric acidity.

Grown on mountainside ‘’fincas’’ (farms) at 1100 to 1600 meters above sea level the coffee from Nicaragua is characteristic of Central American coffee in general, although typically milder in acidity.

This medium roast is subtle in flavour with a balanced sweetness and nutty notes with a hint of vanilla. Best enjoyed in a cafetière, filter, or Turkish coffee pot.

Best in filter or Aeropress?

For me, this one works best in Aeropress or filter / V60. Mild and fragrant, rather than a dark high-caffeine hit. Tried it once in the Bialetti ; didn't really suit it or bring out its taste as well. Popular with family / visitors who don't want a fiercely dark brew.
