Raw and natural honey from the remote wheat plains of central Sicily. Bees collect nectars from the wild carrot flowers - sometimes called Queen Anne's Lace - that flourish after the wheat harvest. Raw carrot makes luscious, pungent honey, which crystallises at cooler temperatures.
For six generations Michele Olivia's family has bred indigenous Sicilian bees and harvested their honey from the wild flowering plants of the Iblei Mountains, in eastern Italy. Their skill and accumulated experience in traditional bee husbandry, cold extraction of the honey, and the family pride in its excellence guarantee natural, raw honey of rare taste and quality.
