From the Monte Cimino area: sumptuously thick amber-coloured, rich in active enzymes, vitamins, and minerals. Each batch of wildflower will be slightly different, according to the predominant flowering prior to honey collection. A few of the nectars come from spring-flowering mint, lime, acacia, and clover.
Perfect for cooking, sweetening tea, with yogurt, on toast or to accompany cheese.
This Seggiano honey is produced by the bees of Mauro Pagliaccia, keeper of some five-hundred bee families, with a little help from like-minded beekeepers. Mauro guarantees the quality of his prodigious range of monofloral honey by ensuring his queen bees are at the height of their vigour, at the peak flowering of their chosen plant variety.
Good husbandry, cold extraction and Mauro's personal pride in its integrity ensure natural, raw honey of rare taste and quality.
