Description

La Colomba, meaning “dove”, is the traditional Italian Easter cake, baked in a dove shape to symbolise peace, hope and renewal. This vegan version offers the same light, fragrant texture and slow leavening as the classic, without the use of animal products.

Made with carefully selected ingredients and enriched with candied fruit, it is finished with a crunchy almond and sugar topping for a beautifully balanced sweetness.

Crafted by the family-run bakery Vergani, whose traditions span four generations, this plant-based Colomba brings the heritage of Italian Easter baking to a wider audience while maintaining the quality and craftsmanship for which they are renowned in Italy and beyond.
