One of our house espresso blends.

We've blended Brazilian and African beans, Arabica and Robusta, and roasted them to an Espresso roast.

This makes a lovely espresso. Strong but not overpowering, smooth with earthy undertones, notes of cocoa and citrus giving a good bite. Produces a lovely thick crema. 

Beans: Arabica and Robusta

Process: Natural and Washed

Great Italian style

I love Italian coffee. I find it really difficult to buy unless I know the brand, as often they do not taste how I want.
I was bought Miscela Italia as a gift by someone who knew my taste and spoke to the guys in the store. Since then I have bought kilos of the beans!
A really important point is that these are fairly light in colour and not too oily. This makes them perfect for my Gaggia bean to cup machine. I tried the V.Nero beans (which are delicious by the way), but they completely unsuitable for my machine as the dark oily beans clog the grinders.
Anyway, this review is about Miscela Italia. If you like Italian coffee, you can't go wrong with these beans.

A good solid flavoursome blend

Most of our drinks are milk based so need quite a punchy boy to cut through. A Italian blend is always a solid choice and this is nicely balanced with good body and rich flavour without being a slap around the face strong . Creama's up rather well too so an espresso rather looks the part when brewed, which is always a pleasing look. This is what I regard as my 'base' to which I judge other ACS's coffees blends on. Imho you really can't go wrong here chaps, very much a repeat customer ... 4/5
